Codies Gets A Grip In America [News]November 19

Following in the footsteps of The Beatles and U2, Codemasters has today confirmed that they’ve cracked North America, recording an increase in net sales of 151%, and a 332% increase in dollar sales during the twelve month period ending June 30th.

Driven by titles including Colin McRae DiRT and Overlord, the UK developer/publisher secured a five-fold increase in operating profits compared to the previous year. The company’s performance was also helped by the signing of a December 2006 distribution agreement with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
